ABOUT ME
Hello! My name is Lynn, & I am a recent 2018 graduate from the University of North Texas, with a BA in Interdisciplinary Arts and Design, and minors in Advertising, Art History, and Japanese. I'm motivated to help all of those around me and make the world a more interconnected place. Combining my love for design, journalism, & history, I focused my education on specializing in identifying the origins of systemic problems & the resulting social structures. My work aims to address shifting cultural landscapes & social perceptions in order to create designs that are historically conscientious, yet cognizant of current trends.
With my passion and drive, I love to be able to combine my artistic skills and desire to help others. My specialties include layout design, logos, adverts, and more! As I have always valued the hands-on aspect of the design process, I have strove to comprehensively understand each step of the printing process. Along the way, I have garnered extensive expertise in print operations, prepress, strategic messaging, paper properties, preflighting, & bindery,.
Outside of work, my hobbies include caring for my tropical freshwater aquariums, DIY fixer upper projects, traveling, reading on historical/social subjects, attending musical events, & relaxing at home. As for future plans, I am aspiring to return to graduate school later on, & to complete either a masters or doctorate in Art History.
