UNT Bus Tracker App Window Graphic Created for Dept. of Transportation Services
With the opening of the Union and a multitude of construction projects simultaneously taking place on campus, UNT had to adjust its traffic patterns. The traffic patterns resulted in the previous bus stop & their related routes to be affected as well. Unfortunately, the adjusted traffic patterns & bus routes caused mass confusion among the students & faculty. The Dept. of Transportation Services was tasked with resolving how to assist the public with finding & tracking the UNT buses.
While working as a designer at Eagle Images, I was asked to to assist UNT's Dept. of Transportation Services in designing a graphic to be displayed in the rear windshield of the UNT work trucks. The white work pick-up trucks are used for a multitude of reasons, and can be anywhere on campus addressing various problems.
I was given the text & information to work with, along with the file for the icon of the Transportation App. I wasn't given any particular aesthetic direction, but was asked to make it easy to read for students since it would be on a moving vehicle. With this piece, I sought to exemplify my mastery of the UNT aesthetic and corporate design using their palette & design ideologies.
Here, the graphics have been custom resized and mounted onto the back of the work trucks. I believe there were 3 trucks that had the graphic applied to them.
